City has again been recognised for excellence in its commitment to health and safety, across four of its UK companies, in this years’ prestigious Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Awards.

A total of four Gold awards have been picked up by City this year, one of the world’s largest, privately owned facilities management companies, for overall performance in health and safety.

At a time where health and safety has never been more important, City was praised for its sustained efforts and ethos in safeguarding its colleagues through a wide range of safety initiatives. RoSPA commended City’s colleagues for their focus on not only their own safety, but also that of our customers and suppliers.

Mal Roberts, group head of health, safety and environment (UK and Europe) for City said:
“It is an amazing achievement that all four of our UK companies have achieved RoSPA Gold awards this year.

“The safety of our colleagues has never been more prevalent and it firmly remains at the heart of our values and everything we do.

“To be recognised in this prestigious awards only demonstrates the commitment that our teams have shown to send home our colleagues safely every day.”

Paul Bean, CEO of City (UK and Europe) said:
“I am delighted that our businesses are continually recognised for their outstanding approach and commitment to health and safety in these prestigious awards.

“Over 10,000 of our UK colleagues have been working tirelessly to support the delivery of vital services during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are incredibly proud of all their efforts.

“These awards are a true testament to all our colleagues’ hard work and dedication and we hope to build on this success moving forward as we adapt to new ways of working.”
