ASDA and City sign new FM partnership deal

City, one of the world’s largest privately owned facilities management (FM) companies, has been awarded a new long term contract with ASDA.

In a partnership which has spanned more than 20 years, City provides a full range of FM services including electrical, fabric and building maintenance, energy management and cleaning services, supported by a 24/7 helpdesk, across more than 630 ASDA retail stores and offices in the UK.

City has worked closely with ASDA throughout the duration of the partnership to drive innovation and a wide range of efficiencies across their retail environment.

Lord Willie Haughey, executive chairman for City said:

 City first commenced its partnership with ASDA in 1997 which has now grown to include a full range of FM services across its supermarkets, offices and distribution sites in the UK.
